What PlusOne is for

Professional social companionship at lawful public occasions: weddings, corporate functions, dinners, networking events, graduations, family gatherings, travel, shopping, concerts and hospital visits.

What is strictly prohibited

• Requesting or offering sexual services of any kind.
• Escorting, prostitution, solicitation or trafficking.
• Any conduct unlawful under Kenyan law.
• Harassment, intimidation, discrimination or hate speech.
• Pressuring a companion or customer to leave the agreed venue or scope.
• Sharing another user's photographs, documents or contact details.
• Arranging payment or contact outside the platform.
• Alcohol or substance pressure of any kind.

Expected behaviour

• Be punctual and communicate changes early.
• Dress and behave appropriately for the occasion.
• Respect stated boundaries immediately and without argument.
• Keep conversation and conduct professional at all times.
• Complete safety check-ins during the booking.
• Leave honest, non-abusive reviews.

Reporting and enforcement

Any user can report a profile, message or booking from within the app. Reports are reviewed by a moderator, usually within a few hours. Depending on severity, outcomes range from a warning to immediate permanent removal and blacklisting. Serious matters are reported to the relevant Kenyan authorities.
